Fidelity Media today announced MegaSeg 3.0, the latest version of its professional DJ music mixing and automation software. Version 3.0 includes over 100 improvements and new features, including a revamp of the live mixing interface, refined iTunes and iPod integration, a robust new search engine, a new dual-deck player view, expanded database fields, multi-select edit abilities, improved events and scheduling features, the ability to preview saved playlists for import of individual tracks into the master playlist, Web-based remote control functions, improved category browser, new play log browser, right-click mouse support, and an all-over interface makeover. MegaSeg 3.0 will be available in mid-November for US$199. Starting today, customers who buy MegaSeg 2.7.4 will receive a free copy of MegaSeg 3.0 when released, and an upgrade price of $59 for current users is available for pre-order fro the company’s Web site.
