Apple patches iChat with security update

Apple today released Security Update 2004-09-16 via the Mac OS X Software Update preference pane. According to the release notes, the update “delivers a number of security enhancements,” is recommended for all Mac users, and includes an updated version of iChat. The update is available for Mac OS X 10.2.8 with iChat 1.0, 10.2.8 with iChat AV 2.0, and 10.3.5 with iChat AV 2.1. No other details are available at this time.
