XtremeMac has released Freefall, a satellite simulator and screen saver exclusively for Mac OS X (10.2 and higher) and a winner of the 2004 Apple Design Award for Most Innovative Apple Technology Performance Demo. Freefall simulates the flight path of more than 650 actual satellites in real or accelerated time and offers simulated space views of earth and its orbiters. The 3-D viewer interacts directly with the simulator, providing control over dozens of preferences and perspectives.
