Pariahware today announced the release of Pod Secret 1.0, an application designed to store encrypted data on an iPod or thumb drive. All that is required is to copy the “Pod Secret” and “Pod Secret Data” files to removable media such as an iPod or thumb drive. Then items such as credit card and bank numbers, passwords, serial numbers and more are secure until the device is plugged back into a user’s computer. Pod Secret requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later and is priced at US$19.95 until September 30, 2004 — after which the price increases to $29.95.
