Apple database subsidiary FileMaker has announced the immediate availability of FileMaker Server 7 Advanced, an enhanced version of FileMaker Server 7 that provides advanced Web publishing and connectivity options for efficiently managing shared solutions for desktop and Web clients. FileMaker Server 7 Advanced is priced at US$2,499. FileMaker Server 7 owners can upgrade for $1,500, while owners of FileMaker Developer 7 can upgrade for $10 using the new FileMaker Server 7 Advanced Development License. In a separate announcement today, FileMaker said that it has shipped over 10 million copies of FileMaker, and that it has seen record attendance for its annual FileMaker Developer Conference 2004.
