Our friends at MacUpdate.com have announced the release of MUMenu 2.0, a free menu item application that dynamically updates itself to display the latest Macintosh software updates posted to the MacUpdate Web site. Version 2.0 has been completely rewritten so that it no longer requires the Menu Extra Enabler patch by Unsanity, allows you to add your own custom icons by simply dragging them into the Preferences well, no longer downloads the entire feed of new updates if no new updates have been posted since the last time it checked, and makes the entire user interface more sleek.
