WiebeTech today announced that it is now shipping the G5Jam in a 1.6 Terabyte configuration. The new configuration uses four Hitachi 400GB Serial ATA drives a includes accessories such as a machined cooling baffle plate, constructed from mirror aluminum; a Serial ATA host card (one PCI slot required); and appropriate cables. Configurations are available without drives, and also with either 2 or 4 additional Serial ATA drives. Pricing starts at US$499.95 without a drive and goes up to $1999.95 for the 1.6 Terabyte model.
