The Tolis Group, developer of the BRU brand of data protection solutions, has announced the availability of BRU Server for Mac OS X 1.1. The company says the update offers “enhanced operability and workflow,” as well as a feature that allows users to sync their key data to the server much like a PDA/desktop scenario. BRU Server users covered under Tolis’ extended technical support agreement will be upgraded to version 1.1 at no cost. The Synchronization Module, available in the third quarter of the year, will be a standard inclusion in BRU Server Enterprise version, and an option for use with BRU Server Network or BRU Server Basic when incremental client system support has been added.
