Apple ads up for Cannes award

Apple has been nominated for awards in this year’s 51st International Advertising Festival in Cannes, reports Macworld UK. Over 16,000 ads from around the world are showcased at the event, which also offers seminars from industry leaders, notes the story. Apple has been nominated for its billboard advertising announcing the launch of its retail store in Japan’s Ginza shopping district, its joint iPod ad promotion with Volkswagen in the US, and its media marketing for the iPod and its billboard ads.
