Apple won a Silver D&AD Award (Yellow Pencil) for its iMac G4 in the Product Design category at last night’s Design and Art Direction Awards, notes Macworld UK. D&AD describes its Yellow Pencils awards as “the Oscars of the creative industry.” Apple’s Xserve rack-optimized 1U server was also nominated this year, but failed to win. In previous years, Apple’s iPod recieved a Gold award, while the iBook and PowerBook G4 took Silver awards.
