Alien Apparatus Company has announced Solo Performer Show Controller, a six-button foot pedal device that connects to laptop computers via a USB connection. It allows the musician to control the backing audio and lights in a hands-free manner while performing live on stage. The Solo Performer Show Controller software is Mac OS X compatible and also includes a utility for stripping out unwanted tracks in MIDI files.
