Steve Becker of MacEase has released two new Mac OS X (10.1 and higher) utilities: ClipPreserver Lite 1.0 and ClipPreserver 1.0. ClipPreserver Lite, which is freeware, automatically preserves the contents of the clipboard when users shutdown or restart their computers. When you start or restart your Mac, it automatically restores your clipboards’ previous contents. ClipPreserver, which costs USS$9.95, does the same thing, plus it will automatically preserve and restore the contents of clipboards in the event of a system crash. It also has a ClipCleaner feature. From the utility’s “Clipboard” menu, users instantly can clear the contents of their clipboards.
