Apple’s iTunes Music Store won the judges’ vote in the Commerce category of the 2004 Webby Awards, although the popular vote went to eBay. However, in the Music category, the iTMS took both the judges’ and the popular vote. Apple was also nominated in the Services category, but did not win. Presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, The Webby Awards are “the leading international honor for the worlds best Web sites.”
