Freeverse is shipping BumperCar, a US$49.95 Mac OS X Web browser for kids. The start page encourages children to explore a collection of kid-friendly sites. They can browse the Internet by clicking on any of the categories or by typing a destination in the Address or Search fields. Kids may also guide the bumper car into the “Tunnel of Mystery” to be teleported to a kid-safe site. BumperCar can be configured for a home, school or pre-school setting, with personalized features appropriate for each location. It requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later and 50 MB of hard drive space.
