Try the URL for the AirPort Management Tools that Apple announced yesterday, and you’ll get a “page not found” message. The software package included AirPort Management Utility and AirPort Client Monitor, which provide, according to Apple, “powerful tools for planning, setting up, fine-tuning, and managing larger, enterprise-class wireless networks.” There’s no message from Apple on if the software has been yanked for bugs or if there’s a glitch with the download site. Meanwhile, some Mac users have reported lost signals and reduced AirPort range after installing the AirPort 3.4 software that was also released yesterday. Update: AirPort Management Tools can still be found here.
