UsableNet has updated LIFT, an add-on product for developing accessible and usable Web sites, for Dreamweaver MX 2004. LIFT is designed to let users perform four main functions: site evaluation, problem finding, problem inspection and problem fixing. You’ll need to download the latest version of Dreamweaver MX 2004 (7.0.1) and the new version of LIFT 2.1. The upgrade is free to all customers with a current service contract or anyone that has purchased LIFT for Dreamweaver since Jan. 1, 2003. The suggest retail price of LIFT for Dreamweaver MX is US$299 for the standard version and US$399 for the Pro Suite version that includes LIFT Online, an online subscription-based service that lets users monitor live and dynamic content.
