Inferiis has released KeepAnEye 1.5, an update to its multipurpose monitoring and notification utility. The US$12 software “lets you track data sources by providing visual representations which can be freely organized on the screen like stickies,” explains the developer. “It observes them and warns you when something interesting happens using a general notification system. RSS feeds, pictures, eBay auctions, web pages, software updates, disk usage, IP addresses.” This release introduces a major update of the notification architecture. The new version is also now able to send e-mail messages, open files and executes AppleScripts in addition to the original notification actions (displaying text messages, playing sounds and requesting the attention of the user).
