Adobe is now including the PageMaker Plug-in Pack with the Adobe Creative Suite. The PageMaker Plug-in Pack is a set of plug-ins, templates and training materials built to assist PageMaker users in transitioning to InDesign CS software. (See MacMinute’s Jan. 19 article for details.) Adobe Creative Suite includes Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS, InDesign CS, GoLive CS, Acrobat 6.0 Professional and the Version Cue file version manager; the Plug-in Pack adds PageMaker capabilities to the suite. Registered users of Photoshop (purchased either as a standalone product or part of an Adobe Collection) can upgrade to Adobe Creative Suite Premium Edition for US$749, or the Standard Edition for $549. Estimated street price for the Adobe Creative Suite Premium Edition is $1,229 and $999 for the Standard Edition.
