Griffin Technology today announced the release of Final Vinyl 1.1, the latest version of its utility that allows the recording of vinyl records using just the Griffin iMic or PowerWave and a turntable. Version 1.1 adds several new features including sound waveform-based cue editing and complete Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) compatibility. Also new today is the Griffin Turntable Connection Cable (US$12.99) with built-in grounding. This six-foot cable features stereo RCA jacks and a turntable grounding screw on one end, and a mini-jack on the other.
