A new utility from Derman Enterprises will automatically hide applications when they are not in the foreground. HideItControl 1.0 gives users the option of specifying which applications will be hidden; defining whether or not HideItControl starts at login; and defining a hotkey and a switching-click modifier to temporarily disable the utility. HideItControl requires Mac OS X 10.2 or later and is priced at US$9.95. A demo version is also available.
