As expected, Opera Software, the Norway-based Web browser developer, has announced details of its initial public offering. “Opera Software’s Board of Directors yesterday decided to issue between 12.5-16.1 million new shares in relation to its announced Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE). In addition, existing shareholders have decided to sell 11,844,900 existing shares in the transaction. The indicative price range is NOK 8.00 and NOK 10.00 per share. The subscription period starts today, Feb. 26 and closes Wednesday, March 10. The share offer consists of one tranche for Norwegian and international institutional investors, and one tranche for Norwegian retail investors.”
