Ranchero Software has posted a new beta version of NetNewsWire that adds support for the Atom syndication format. NetNewsWire is a popular Really Simple Syndication (RSS) news reader and Weblog editor. In related news, Google’s Blogger service said recently that it is bypassing the widely used RSS format in favor of Atom.
