MakeMusic! today announced the availability of SmartMusic Studio 8.2, the latest version of the company’s interactive music practice system. Version 8.2 adds support for Mac OS X, includes new contest titles for high school and college band students, and offers enhanced recording options including the ability to save as a compressed MP3 file. The software is now available to students and music educators through school sponsorship and home subscription offers at the SmartMusic Web site.
