The Omni Group has announced OmniWeb 5.0, a major new version of its popular Mac OS X Web browser. Highlighted new features include a tab drawer, saved browsing sessions, updated bookmarks, page marking, improved shortcuts, site-specific preferences, and more. The company said it will be showcasing the software at Macworld Expo this week (booth #934). A public beta version will be available for download on February 2, 2004 with the final version shipping in March. OmniWeb 5.0 will sell for US$29.95. Upgrades to v5.0 from previous versions will cost $9.95.
