XtremeMac expands XwireGold Data Cables line

XtremeMac today announced that it is expanding its line of Mac-specific XwireGold Data Cables with the addition of USB and Network cables. The Apple-white XwireGold Low-Noise Technology cables have been expanded to include 1-meter, 2-meter, and 3-meter USB 2.0 A to B cables, as well as a 2-meter USB Keyboard extension cable. Desktop-connectivity Cat 5e Ethernet LAN cables have also been added. In addition, the company has announced price reductions on two of its iPod bundles.

XtremeMac now shipping UFO iMac hub

XtremeMac today announced that it is now shipping the UFO, which originally debuted as a prototype known as iRise at Macworld Expo in New York last summer. The UFO is an illuminated digital pedestal hub which sits directly under the Apple iMac and features a blue glowing base and an integrated cable management system that routes the iMac’s keyboard and speaker cables under the computer.

Snowmint Creative Solutions today announced the release of Budget 3.3 for Mac OS X, the latest release of the personal finance tool. In addition to several bug fixes, version 3.3 adds new features such as QIF file import, a long-term planner, currency conversion, a redesigned Preferences window, and a new localization for British English. Budget is priced at US$29.95, but Snowmint is offering a special Macworld price of $24.95 through the month of January.
