“X for Teachers” program extended

As noted in Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ keynote today at Macworld Expo, the “X for Teachers” program, which provides a free copy of Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) to every K-12 teacher in the United States, has been extended through March 31, 2003. National Instruments previews LabVIEW for Mac OS X

National Instruments announced today it is bringing the award-winning LabVIEW graphical development environment, first created on the Mac OS more than 15 years ago, to Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar). With LabVIEW, scientists and engineers can create applications, or virtual instruments (VIs), for acquiring, analyzing, and presenting a wide range of technical data, including temperature, pressure, vibration, and voltage.
