As noted in Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ keynote today at Macworld Expo, the “X for Teachers” program, which provides a free copy of Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) to every K-12 teacher in the United States, has been extended through March 31, 2003. Apple said that the program has been a resounding success, with nearly 300,000 teachers participating to date.
