Blacktree has released Pith 1.0b2, a new utility for Apple’s Safari Web browser that tracks the currently open sites, displays them in a window, and allows users to hide or minimize unused windows. It even allows users to recover the windows that were open if Safari crashes.

According to the Web researcher, Opera 7 was not as successful as Safari in the first weeks of its launch, with the alternative browser only capturing a global usage share of 0.03 percent. Microsoft still dominates the browser market, with all versions of Microsoft accounting for 95.2 percent.
