Pariahware has released Contact This 2.2, an update to the company’s Entourage, Outlook, and Outlook Express Address Book importer. Contact This can import the contacts from Entourage (Classic), Outlook (Mac and Windows), and Outlook Express (Mac and Windows). The new version offers a more consistent Mac OS X look, the ability to export .VCF files directly to an iPod, stability improvements, and more. Contact This is US$15 shareware.

Apple releases Mac OS X 10.2.4

Apple today released Mac OS X 10.2.4 via the Software Update control panel. The update delivers “enhanced functionality and improved reliability for the following applications, services and technologies: Address Book, Classic compatibility, Finder, FireWire, Graphics, OpenGL, and Sherlock. It includes AFP and Windows file service improvements, as well as audio, disc recording, graphics, and printing improvements.” The download weighs-in at 40.9MB.

Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne beta test announced

Blizzard today announced that beginning tomorrow individuals will have the opportunity to register for their chance to be one of 10,000 players chosen to beta test Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, the upcoming expansion pack for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. The beta signup is scheduled for a seven-day period beginning at 2:00 PM ET on Friday, February 14 and ending at 2:00 PM ET on Friday, February 21.
