Send iTunes Gift Certificates via USPS

MacMinute reader Jon Gales let us know that you can now send iTunes Gift Certificates purchased from the online Apple Store via the United States Postal Service. (Previously, they could only be sent via e-mail.) The new physical iTunes Gift Certificates work just like the electronic versions, allowing anyone to buy and download music from the iTunes Music Store without requiring a credit card. They can be purchased in pre-set amounts of US$10 to $200 (in increments of $10).

Tysons Corner Apple Store to re-open tomorrow

The Tysons Corner Apple Store in McLean, Virginia, will re-open tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. after being closed for remodeling since October 13. The store will be giving away iSight cameras every hour during the grand re-opening weekend. According to Apple, the renovated store features a brand new retail area, a longer Genius Bar equipped with 40-inch LCD display panels, and expanded seating in a new state-of-the-art theater.
