Griffin releases PowerWave Control .05

Griffin Technology today announced the release of PowerWave Control .05, free software that adds Volume, Input Gain, Bass and Treble control to the Mac when used with the company’s PowerWave USB Audio Interface. Media Lab releases PSD2FLA for Mac OS X

Media Lab today announced that PSD2FLA, its popular plug-in that allows users to save their Photoshop files directly as an editable Flash file (.fla), is now available for Mac OS X. “Users simply save their Photoshop file in Photoshop, select the File — Export — PSD2FLA menu and decide whether or not they want invisible Photoshop layers exported and the file to be opened in Flash.

Master of Orion III shipping

Destineer’s MacSoft unit today announced that the long-awaited Master of Orion III for Macintosh is now shipping and should be available on store shelves starting today. “Master of Orion III is a turn-based strategy game with real-time space battles. Players gather resources as they explore solar systems, complete with jump lanes, worm-holes and hostile alien races. They will research and design their own ships and weapons and interact with 16 different races.
