OWC introduces Neptune FireWire storage solutions

Other World Computing (OWC) today introduced its new Neptune line of external FireWire hard drives. The Neptune drives feature a custom Oxford911 bridge solution, two six-pin FireWire 400 ports, a 7200RPM drive mechanism, 2MB or 8MB data buffer, transfer speeds of up to 400Mbps, and backup and restore software. The compact drives (1.5x 9x 5.5-inch) weigh 2.7 pounds, and boast a shock resistant design for maximum portability.

REALVIZ announces Sticher 4.0

REALVIZ today announced Stitcher 4.0, a new version of its pro-level application for creating high-quality panoramas for the Web, film, print, and 3D. Version 4.0 offers several enhancements, including better Adobe Photoshop integration, a Best Rendering option, interactive QuickTime VR previewing, and an improved interface and workflow enhancements.
