In the wake of Apple’s early succes with the iTunes Music Store, Amazon, MSN and AOL are all currently working on new music downloading services that will take cues from Apple. “Since the launch of Apple’s iTunes music store on April 28, talks have intensified between the major record labels, various leading Internet services and technology providers to offer paid download singles to online consumers,” reports MSNBC.
