MacFeast featuring new products, special pricing

The organizers of this year’s Southern California MacFeast announced today that some of the participating exhibitors will be showcasing many newly announced products with special pricing available only at the event. MacFeast 2003 event is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2003 at Cerritos College in Norwalk, California. Guest speakers include Shawn King, host of the Your Mac Life Web radio show, and Brendan Schilling, regional manager from Apple. Apple Store coming to Cleveland, Ohio

MacMinute reader Robert Bucha let us know that Apple is planning to open a new Ohio retail store in Cleveland: “Reading the Sunday (June 8, 2003) Plain Dealer, Business – page G5, reporter Corwin Thomas spilled the beans in the ‘Making the Deal’ section. A new retail complex called Legacy Village being built in an eastern suburb of Cleveland (the city of Lyndhurst) will be getting an Apple store. Impression 1.5 adds direct-to-drive archiving

The Babel Company has released Impression 1.5, the latest version of the company’s low cost backup utility for Mac OS X. Version 1.5 is a significant update and brings direct-to-disk archiving, file-copy support and performance enhancements. The user interface has also been improved and various bugs have been fixed.
