IDG World Expo today announced that Greg Joswiak, vice president of hardware product marketing at Apple, will deliver the opening feature presentation at Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo, which runs from July 14-18 in New York City this summer. Joswiak, who leads the team responsible for all Apple desktops and portables, including the iPod and AirPort, will speak on Wednesday, July 16 at 9:30 AM ET.

Version 5.2.3 offers “security and performance enhancements, as well as improved browser compatibility for enterprise users who work on a network with secure authentication or with proxy servers,” the company noted. In addition, Internet Explorer 5.1.7 for Mac OS 8/9 will be released later this month with similar improvements. The update will be available for free download from Microsoft’s site when it is released.
