Griffin announces iTrip FM transmitter for 3G iPods

Griffin Technology today announced the iTrip FM Transmitter for the new third generation (3G) iPods that were recently released by Apple. Like the original, the new iTrip rests atop the iPod and attaches securely to the headphone jack and can broadcast to any available frequency on the FM dial. The US$35 device, which is lighter than the original, requires no batteries — it draws minimum power directly from the iPod and automatically shuts off after 60 seconds without music.
