Epson today announced two new photo scanners — the Perfection 3170 and 1670 — which offer “an incredible combination of image quality, versatility and innovative photo restoration software at an affordable price.” The Perfection 3170 (US$199) delivers a maximum resolution of 3200×6400 dpi, while the 1670 ($129) offers 1600×3200 resolution. Both will be available in August.
