Microsoft let us know that it has released MSN for Mac OS X v2.0.1, the latest update to the company’s Internet subscription service software. Version 2.0.1 offers fixes for compatibility with Panther, specifically minimizing dialing crashes and enhancing MSN browsing performance; and the latest version of Windows Media Player for Mac OS X, which enables MSN for Mac OS X users to view Media Player 9 content.

ColorWare offers 24 color options for Apple products

ColorWare, a company specializing in colored computer products, has announced a new custom-painting service for PowerBooks, iBooks and iPods. ColorWare said that Mac users looking for an alternative to the standard white and silver products currently offered by Apple now have a choice of 24 different colors. The cost for the Apple coloring service is US$399 for iBook G4s and PowerBook G4s, and $49 for iPods.
