Dot Software today announced the release of Cookie Muncher 1.0.5, a cookie manager that deletes all your cookies, except for the ones you choose to keep. At the moment, the utility supports five Web browsers: Camino, Internet Explorer, Safari, Mozilla, and OmniWeb. In addition, Cookie Muncher can edit cookie values and delete expired cookies. Cookie Muncher requires Mac OS X and is priced at US$8.

Apple worldwide market share declines year over year

Apple captured 2.3 percent of the worldwide market share in the second quarter of 2003, down from 2.7 percent a year ago, but slightly up from the 2 percent it had in the first quarter, according to research firm IDC. “Although unit sales were down, there were bright spots in Apple’s earnings report,” writes Ina Fried for CNET News.com. “The company last quarter had its highest revenue level in nearly three years by selling higher-priced machines, as well as more of its iPod music players.
