TextWrangler 1.5 brings AppleScript support, more

Bare Bones Software announced today that it is now shipping TextWrangler 1.5, a new version of its application for general purpose text editing and processing of data. Version 1.5 brings full AppleScript support, as well as syntax coloring and function navigation for nine new languages — Fortran, Java, Object Pascal, Perl, Python, Rez, Tcl, TeX, and Unix shell script (ANSI C, C++ and Objective C were already supported). TextWrangler 1.5 now runs only on Mac OS X 10.2 or later (v10.2.6 strongly recommended) and sells for US$49.

Concord Camera intros two new CCD digital cameras

Concord Camera today announced the company’s first two digital cameras using Charge-Coupled Device (“CCD”) technology. The Concord Eye-Q 3340z features a 3 megapixel CCD sensor and a high resolution 3x internal optical zoom system, while the Concord Eye-Q 4060AF offers a 4 megapixel CCD sensor and a 6x digital zoom. Both models come with 16MB of internal flash memory and are equipped with an SD card slot.
