The organizers of the PhotoshopWorld Conference & Expo said today that individuals attending the upcoming event will be able to supplement their Adobe Photoshop training by learning new graphics tablet techniques. Select instructors will use Wacom graphics tablets during their sessions instead of a mouse so participants can learn top Photoshop techniques from a pen-and-tablet point of view. This sequence of classes has been dubbed “Pen Powered” training.

Report: 802.11g standard helps Wi-Fi growth

The new 802.11g wireless networking specification, which Apple utilizes in its AirPort Extreme products, is helping to maintain strong growth in the Wi-Fi industry, according to a research report. The Dell’Oro Group released a report Wednesday indicating that “sales in the second quarter of products based on the new 802.11g standard are more than making up for a decline in revenue from 802.11b-based products,” according to CNET News.com.
