Overstock undercuts Amazon book pricing

Overstock.com is directly targeting Amazon.com with a new strategy that offers best-selling books priced 25 percent below what Amazon is charging for the same titles, reports CNET News.com. Overstock said Tuesday that it would offer 25 percent off Amazon’s prices for books currently on The New York Times best-seller lists, Publisher’s Weekly best-seller lists and those books ranked among Amazon’s own 100 best-sellers.

SanDisk has introduced the ImageMate 8-in-1 media card reader, which has four slots that accept all industry-standard storage cards including CompactFlash Type I and II cards, SmartMedia, SD card, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO and the xD-Picture Card.
