New Arrivals is a bi-weekly, Web-based newsletter that provides users with information on a wide range of newly released products in all market categories. In addition to information on specific products, New Arrivals provides users with the ability to see the entire product line of a particular developer, as well as information on each product in the developer’s line.

Blue World announces Lasso Professional 7

Blue World Communications today announced Lasso Professional 7, a major upgrade to its Web application server product for building and serving data-driven Web sites. Lasso Professional 7 adds support for embedded MySQL, Unicode, SOAP, image manipulation, data caching, and more. The new version supports both Mac OS X 10.3 Panther and Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar. It was compiled using GCC 3.3 with optimized support for the PowerPC G5 processor in addition to providing support for existing G3/G4 processors.

FM7 update, Reaktor 4 demo now available

Native Instruments has released FM7 1.1.1, an update to its FM synthesizer. The new version brings support for Mac OS X, as well as its modern technologies and interfaces, including AudioUnits, RTAS, VST, and standalone operation with CoreMIDI and CoreAudio. The FM7 1.1.1 update is immediately available to all registered users as a US$29 direct download.
