Last week MacMinute noted that Virginia Tech will use 1,100 Power Mac G5s as part of a supercomputer cluster now under construction. “The new cluster is designed to make its way into the rankings of the world’s largest supercomputers, a list that currently has no Macs,” reported CNET News.com.
