Every seventh-grade student and teacher in Carroll, Iowa, should have an iBook as early as the end of the month. On Monday, the Carroll School Board approved a four-year lease agreement with Apple to provide laptops (presumably iBooks). The district will lease 135 computers from Apple for US$165,000 (about $300 per student per year).
