Studio training series coming to SoHo Apple Store
The SoHo Apple Store in New York City will launch the Studio Series training program on November 1. Apple says that the series offers “affordable, hands-on training courses for first-time Mac users, upgraders and switchers, and those who would like to become digital moviemakers and digital photographers.” The Studio Series was previously only available at the Chicago Apple Store.

Signs of growth are gradually emerging in the US computer hardware industry, according to a report released Wednesday by Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services. A full recovery, however, is “dependent upon growth in corporate spending,” which could also help Apple’s outlook. “Dell, Apple, and IBM are all expected to be early beneficiaries of IT spending improvement,” said Standard & Poor’s credit analyst Martha Toll-Reed.
