Recall issued for all Segway scooters

The company behind the Segway Human Transporter has agreed to recall the motorized scooters because riders have been injured falling off when its batteries are low. “The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall Friday, saying that three people had been injured. One suffered a head wound and needed stitches,” reports AP. “The recall involves about 6,000 of the single-rider, two-wheeled scooters that can travel up to 12 mph.

Other World Computing (OWC) today announced it has expanded its Mercury Extreme G4 AGP processor upgrade line with the addition of a 1.0 Gigahertz (GHz) model. The OWC Mercury Extreme G4 processor upgrades feature 256k of 1:1 L2 cache on-chip and 2MB of high-speed SPD or DDR L3 Cache operating at up to 267MHz.
