The San Jose Business Journal reports that Marci O’Kelly, a former Apple employee, was indicted this week by a federal grand jury on charges that she defrauded the company, and engaged in interstate shipment of stolen property. “According to grand jury, when Ms. O’Kelly was a graphics design budget coordinator for Apple in 2002 and 2003, During that time, she ordered approximately US$120,000 of digital photography equipment from vendors on Apple’s account without authorization, then resold the equipment for her personal benefit on eBay, the Internet auction site.”
