Virtix today announced the release of Arsenal for iMovie, a plug-in that allows users to “place special effects at a position on the screen and change that position over time, using a technique called keyframing. You can use this technique to make the effect match up with your scene as the camera moves or as the objects in the scene move, adding a professional realism to the effect. You can even trace the Laser effect onto a ‘sword’ to create a light saber duel.” Virtix Arsenal is priced at US$34.99. A demonstration movie and sample images are also available.
