First Tech Computer of Minneapolis, MN has announced that it will be hosting a special launch event for the release of MacSoft’s Halo: Combat Evolved on Saturday, Dec. 13. The “Halo World Premiere” will provide FirstTech customers an early hands-on experience with this long-awaited title. The event will feature several demo stations on the sales floor, as well as LAN multiplayer games and door prizes. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Update: The folks at Carbon Computing in Toronto, Canada let us know that they will be holding a release event this Friday, December 12 beginning at 8:00 p.m.
