Parliant Corporation today released the first major upgrade of PhoneValet, its multi-line computer telephony solution for Mac OS X. PhoneValet includes all the hardware and software required to connect your Mac to the phone line and features voice dialing, talking caller ID, call logging and more. PhoneValet 1.1 supports dialing numbers directly from Apple’s Address Book application, and integrates with iChat to automatically set its status to “on the phone” when you’re using the phone. The update also offers a redesigned real-time “quick searching,” improved sorting, and the ability to access advanced dialing services in any application. PhoneValet is priced at US$129.95.
